Behind The Editions
At its core, The Everrose Letters was created to help people. This book bridges the transportive atmosphere of fantasy fiction with the intimate, grounded guidance of seasonal letters, poetry, and self-help, offering a safe harbor through life's more difficult moments.
While the heart of the project is entirely about providing that emotional sanctuary, I have always believed that you can be struggling and still deserve to surround yourself with beautiful things. There is no reason why a book meant to comfort your heaviest days shouldn't also be a thoughtfully made object that brings you a bit of brightness just by holding it. Processing hard times and enjoying well-crafted things do not have to be mutually exclusive; you deserve to hold something beautiful, even when you are walking through the dark.
Because of this philosophy, a significant amount of personal care and investment went into the book's aesthetic and design. To ensure the visual presentation matches the care put into the words, every single edition shares the exact same premium, full-colour interior. Pages are printed on heavy white paper featuring custom chapter-heading artwork, a sprawling full-page fantasy map, and a dedicated full-page illustration. As a deliberate design choice, every page features a soft, pale pink background, creating a faux-sprayed-edge appearance when the book is resting on your shelf.
